Tolide [pronounced "toe-lee-day"] judo club has first rate instructors with decades of experience in competitive judo and, coaching, and judging. They have a very large mat area with springs under the floor, so it's easy and fun to do all kinds of judo without having hard landings on the floor. The instructors and members are very involved in the Alberta judo community and participate with volunteers and competitors in all the major tournaments, including running their own tournament every year (as well as hosting a very popular monthly tournaments for beginning and intermediate atheletes only). Judo is an Olympic sport, a traditional martial art, a self defence system, and a fitness program all at once, and Tolide is one of the best places to learn it as a beginner and to practice your art as you grow.
