The Dow Centennial Centre opened in September 2004. It is a multi leisure complex which includes an NHL size hockey rink, leisure ice, soccer field, gymnasium, fitness centre, flex hall, 550 seat theatre, conference/banquet rooms, and art studio.

The local Judo club, Tolide Judo Kwai trains in the flex hall three times a week. What makes this dojo (judo practice hall) unique, is the construction of the spring floor.  Underneath the tatami's (mats) are specially designed springs, when you walk on the mat area, get thrown or fall you'll notice that you bounce instead of land with a big thud. The floor area was specifically designed to absorb the judokas (judo students) falls and throws during training sessions and to reduce injuries.
